MGG Moms – the best part, for you.

MGG Moms is an adjunct program for My Girls’ Group.  It has 3 goals:

  • Provide training and support for the mothers regarding the girls’ curriculum so they can reinforce the concepts between meetings and keep them alive after the group ends.
  • Cover methods of ensuring open communication between you and your daughter going forward.  It is very common to think you have good communication at this stage and see that deteriorate over the middle school years.  With an eye toward the future, you can make changes now that will make all the difference when she is in high school.
  • Offer a glimpse into how your daughter functions in a group setting when you are not present.

For the sake of convenience MGG Moms is a tele-group.  That simply means we use conference call technology.   Each participant uses a regular phone number to call into a bridge line at the appointed time.  It’s highly interactive and the flow works well. Marcia will be leading the call and you can engage in lively discussions. You do not need a computer all you need is a land line or cell phone so you can call in from most anywhere.

MGG Moms represents 33% of the program cost but makes up far more than 50% of the program value.  I can’t urge you strongly enough to participate in this critical aspect of the program.  This is a one of a kind opportunity to share an experience with your daughter in a unique way and come out of it with a closer relationship!

Note: The cost to call a bridge line is a standard long distance charge. There are no conferencing fees, so you would just pay your long distance carrier whatever your rates are or if your cell phone has free long distance and you can spare 60 minutes a month, it’s free.  By the way, GTC Telecom offers 5 cents a minute long distance rates for your home making a 60 minute call $3.00.
